1. How many people will a hog roast cater for?

A full hog will cater for up to 200 guests. A half hog will feed up to 100 guests.

2. How long before the event will you need to set up?

Our team will be with you roughly seven hours before your event. This is so we have time to set up and can get the hog cooking.

3. How long does a full hog take to cook?

5-6 hours.

4. How much will it cost?

Please visit our Hog Roast Packages page to give you an idea on costs. If you just require the equipment, machine hire, gas, set up and delivery and collection then the cost is only £150.

If our packages do not meet your requirements then please contact us and a bespoke package can be made which will be perfect for your event.

5. Are you registered?

Yes, we are registered with local authority environmental officers and have HACCP in place.

6. Are you insured?

Yes, we hold public liability insurance which allows us to operate almost anywhere. We can provide relevant documents upon request.

7. Where is your meat from?

We use locally-sourced produce and are in partnership with Kent County Butchers to ensure that we provide you with the highest quality meats.

8. What do I need to provide?

All we need you to do is have a flat, 3m by 3m square area for us to set up our Gazebo and hog roasting equipment. The gazebo ensures that come rain or shine we can still operate. Everything else is done by us so you can sit back and enjoy your day.

9. How far do you travel?

Kent County Hog Roast operate all over Kent and the surrounding areas.

10. How will your team look on the day?

We will be we well presented. Our chefs wear traditional chef whites and our team will be wearing our uniform. We want to give you a professional and friendly service on your day.

11. What happens after the event?

We will ensure that everything is tidied away. We would love to hear your experiences following the event so please feel free to share these with us.
